Two teenagers caught red-handed with a stolen motorbike on a Doncaster estate have been ordered to do 100 hours of unpaid work community work.
Reece Robinson, aged 19, of Dorset Crescent, and Jordan Crowhurst, 18, of Argyll Avenue, both Intake, pleaded guilty at Doncaster Crown Court to handling stolen goods.
Prosecutor Carl Fitch said the £200 off-road motorbike was stolen from a garage in Intake . The owner reported it straight away because his dog started barking and raised the alarm.
Police on patrol in Shaftesbury Avenue saw the defendants 10 minutes later, in possession of the bike, and one of them said: “What are we going to do with this now?”
They were arrested and the bike returned to its owner.
