A casualty was cut free from a vehicle after a collision involving a lorry and a car in Rotherham last night.

Emergency services were called to Sheffield Road, South Anston, at 6.50pm and firefighters had to release one trapped casualty.

Three fire engines were deployed to the crash scene.

No other details have yet been released.

Earlier in the day a car and motorbike were involved in a collision in New Wortley Road, Masbrough, Rotherham and a car and motorbike crashed in Moor Valley, Birley, Sheffield.

On Saturday there was a crash in Packman Road, West Melton, Rotherham and another in Manchester Road, near Flouch.

On Friday night a car crashed into a house in Manor Lane, Manor, Sheffield.
