STUDENTS who achieve at college could be rewarded with up to £600 a year.
Rotherham College of Arts and Technology has launched a Cash for Success initiative.
Full-time students aged between 16 and 18 will be rewarded for their success in the scheme.
Those achieving 100 per cent attendance, handing in all work on time and having a good behaviour record will receive a £50 reward in each of three terms in the year.
The college will also provide support for success, where full-time students with an annual family income of less than £21,000 can be eligible for up to £450 financial support.
Gill Alton, principal and chief executive, said: “Financial barriers shouldn’t get in the way of learning and progression.”
