A PROJECT run by a Sheffield charity which supports the homeless has received a £20,000 donation.
Westfield Health awarded the cash to the St Wilfrid’s Centre, on Queen’s Road, after the charity unveiled plans for a £1.8 million residential development, which will house up to 50 people who use the centre’s facilities.
The accommodation, which will also be located on Queen’s Road, will allow residents to receive support while living on their own.
Kevin Bradley, director of the St Wilfrid’s Centre, said: “We are extremely grateful to Westfield Health for supporting this project.
“I hope to get the support of as many people in Sheffield as possible, and encourage them to help the homeless and vulnerable people in our region get back on their feet.”
