A COFFEE and chat session with Don Valley MP Caroline Flint tomorrow will give Warmsworth residents the chance to raise important local issues.
The open forum at Warmsworth Community Centre from 1.30pm to 2.30pm is the first of a series planned this month including Rossington, Dunsville and Thorne, with invitations sent to 800 to 1,000 residents.
Caroline said: “Neighbourhood meetings have proved a very helpful means of keeping in touch with people over the years.
“It can only be good for Labour Party representatives to arrange opportunities for residents to air their concerns about crime, libraries, public services or whatever issues matter to them.”
Labour’s Bob Johnson said: “Despite being in the internet era with email and Facebook, there is no substitute for getting out to meet people, listen and have a conversation about the issues of concern.”
