Tickhill Methodist Church members are supporting Christian Aid by raising their voices next Friday morning.
The choristers will be singing carols at the Buttercross monument in the middle of the town from 10.30am to 11.30am.
The choir also gathers in the Methodist Church, Northgate, at 4pm on Sunday, December 11, where they will hold a café style sing-a-long to raise money for the charity.
n The annual Christingle Service takes place at St Mary’s Church, Tickhill, the same afternoon at 3pm to raise money for the Children’s Society that helps homeless, vulnerable and disadvantaged young people.
At the celebration, each child will receive a Christingle – an orange bearing a candle, red ribbon and of sweets that symbolises God’s love.
