Career change course on offer

BARNSLEY Council is offering two courses for those considering a career as a school teaching assistant.

The courses offer a nationally-recognised qualification - the CACHE level two certificate in supporting teaching and learning in schools.

The sessions take place each Thursday at The Core, County Way, Barnsley, with classes available from 9am to 12.30pm and from 1pm to 4.30pm.

Each course will last for a year.
