Firefighters are tackling a blaze on a car transporter on a slip road between the M1 and M18.
South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service currently have five engines at the scene of the blaze on the slip road at junction 32 of the M1 north on to the M18 close to Rotherham after being called to the blaze at around 6.30pm this evening.
Two cars on the transporter are on fire.
The link road from the M1 northbound at Junction 32 to the M18 northbound has been closed while the incident is dealt with.
A spokesman for the Highways Agency said three of the four link roads in the area have been closed on the advice of the fire service, with only the M18 southbound to the M1 northbound still currently open.
Diversions have been put in place.
