Firefighters have been called out to assist with a car that is believed to have overturned after it hit a parked car while it was 'travelling at speed' on a Sheffield road in the early hours of this morning.

The incident occurred in Holgate Avenue, Parsons Cross at around 4.50am this morning.

A South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "We were called out to a car that had overturned when it hit a parked car as it was travelling at speed.

"When we arrived on the scene there were no persons present."
