I WISH young people would curb their drinking, it can do lasting damage.
When I used to go to the matinees on Saturday mornings, you’d see cowboys and Indians (a favourite cowboy was Hopalong Cassidy, also known as Bill Boyd).
You’d see bad cowboys giving booze to Indians. The drinking sent them mad in the head. That is what’s happening now to our young.
What with the terrible scourge of drugs, too, I really do wish today’s young people would see the damage they are causing, if not now but for the future.
Enjoy a drink, a dance or whatever you like but, please, take alcohol in moderation. I hope some see sense before it’s too late.
