SHEFFIELD businessman Anthony Power remains in a critical condition in hospital almost three weeks after being attacked for the keys of his luxury Bentley car.

Mr Power, aged 78, from Bradway, who founded the internationally-renowned Panache lingerie firm, suffered a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain.

The attack, in High Hazels Park, Darnall, happened on Monday, October 8, when Mr Power was out looking for his brother who had gone missing.

He was in a critical but stable condition after the assault.

A Sheffield Teaching Hospitals spokesman said: “Mr Power remains in the Northern General Hospital where his condition is unchanged.”

Mr Power’s company, based at Drake House, near Crystal Peaks, is a leading international brand with a presence in 30 countries and offices in New York, Germany and Hong Kong.

■ Imran Khan, 30, of Handsworth Road, Darnall, has been charged with attempted murder and robbery and remanded in custody.
