Year-long fundraising drive aids town hospice

Staff at a Barnsley company have raised over £2,400 for the town’s hospice in a year-long fundraising drive.

A team of workers at the ITS Group organised a range of activities including a winter fayre, an Easter raffle, a midnight walk, bag packing at the local Morrisons and a beetle drive.

They also sought the help of family and friends, with a range of items created to sell at the winter fayre event.

For the rest of this year staff have now chosen a new cause to support, the Gateway Foodbank Charity, which will receive both funds and food donations.
