Saddlery seeks award hat-trick

A DONCASTER firm hasreached the national finals of the British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) awards.

Iron Horse Equestrian Supplies Saddlery, based in Moss, already has BETA awards from 2010 and last year and is now in line to collect the BETA/SEIB retailer of the year award in Birmingham on Sunday, February 19.

Iron Horse, run by Jean Waterworth and her daughter, Vanessa Townsend, with a staff of seven, specialises in equestrian equipment, clothing and feed, expanding into shooting clothing and cartridges in 2011.

Jean said: “We’re delighted to have again reached the finals of such a prestigious award, particularly as we were nominated by customers.”
