NVQ speaks the language
Thirteen Sheffield companies have thrown their weight behind a brand new National Vocational Qualification in business languages, which the city is pioneering.
The companies and nine Sheffield schools have signed up as Business Language Champions for the programme, which is the brainchild of Sheffield City Council's '1-19 Team' and the Sheffield-based Regional Language Network Yorkshire and Humber (RLN YH) and has already been taken up by more than 1,000 pupils.
For more information on the new NVQ contact Ruth Linden At the RLN YH, tel: (0114) 227 0579.
