Bus passengers in parts of Sheffield are being invited to have their say on future services – after planned route changes were put on hold.
Operator First has promised to carry out further consultation on the 17, 20 and 20a services in south Sheffield.
Proposed alterations were met with protests in the summer by pensioners in Norton Lees, who were unhappy that some streets would have been left without a regular service.
First says it wants to hear from residents in Chancet Wood, Woodseats and Norton Lees over the coming weeks – and particularly from users of the 17.
Drop-in sessions will take place where people can meet bus managers. Two will take place at Woodseats Library – on Saturday, between 10am and 1pm, and Tuesday, October 29, between 2pm and 5pm.
A further session will take place at St Paul’s Church Centre on Wednesday, October 30, from 11am to 2pm.
