Join the City Hall's Inner Circle of friends

SOUTH Yorkshire businesses are invited to join Sheffield City Hall's Inner Circle for a special corporate package.

The 'First Call' scheme gives businesses the chance to join an exclusive club which includes a stream of benefits.

The package includes getting ten company named seats and 48 hours notice before a show goes on sale - giving them the option to book their own seats.

David Thornton, Head of Marketing for Sheffield City Hall said: "This is a wonderful opportunity for local businesses to play a part in the refurbished City Hall.

"Less than 300 seats in the inner circle will be available for corporate sponsorship as part of the 'First Call' package.

"As well as having a company name on a plaque on a row of ten seats, members of the inner circle will also get to hear about shows that are due to go on sale 48 hours before tickets are available for general release.

"This gives companies the chance to book their own corporate branded seats for entertaining their clients."

The package, which includes name plaques on a row of ten seats in the inner circle, costs 3,000.

This covers the name plaque for the life of the seat and gives companies the first opportunity to book tickets for shows in their own seat for five years.

The Philharmonics concerts are exempt from the 48-hour advance booking notice.

n BUSINESSES have the chance to entertain guests at Sheffield City Hall thanks to a top package unveiled by the historic venue.

Four of the much-anticipated shows in the City Hall's opening season have been selected for the high quality packages.

Businesses can amuse their guests with the hottest tickets in town with corporate hospitality being available for two of the sold-out Little Britain performances.

Packages are also available when bright young thing Katherine Jenkins takes to the stage and for the Jools Holland performance. The First Class package includes tickets for the show and a delicious three-course meal served in the Memorial Hall alongside other corporate guests. Tables for eight and ten are available up to a maximum of 100.

The Premium package offers businesses the chance to entertain their guests in a private suite. Maximum numbers of guests for this package is 60 with 30 in each room.

n A STRING of new jobs are waiting to be snapped up at the revamped City Hall as it prepares to swing open its doors.

From stewards to nightclub staff, food and beverage operatives to stage, the much-loved Sheffield venue now has a series of vacancies.

Andy Bridger, HR Manager for Sheffield City Hall said: "We are busy putting together a team of people who will help to make Sheffield City Hall the place to be.

"We are looking for people with great personalities to take on a wide variety of part-time jobs. Due to the nature of our business there are both early and late working patterns on offer. This is a great opportunity for people to play a part in something really special.

"Sheffield has been without the City Hall for 18 months and the reopening will create a lot of interest with the shows, new conferencing facilities and the groups who use the venue coming back.

"Working in the entertainment industry can be a very exciting and challenging role and we are looking for real characters to take on these roles and offer the public a first class service."
