First wins air quality award
BUS company First South Yorkshire has won an award for improving South Yorkshire's air quality.
The company beat fellow Rotherham business Garnett Dickinson Print to win the business category of South Yorkshire's Care4Air Awards.
First won the award for introducing new buses on the X78 service between Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster which are built to the new Euro 4 standard and produce significantly fewer emissions than the buses they replace.
Garnett Dickinson Print secured second place by investing in a new plant, which incorporates environmentally friendly features.
