Staff from a Sheffield medical equipment firm have set off for Africa to see how surgical tools donated by the company are changing lives.
B Braun, based in Hillsborough, has been invited to Addis Ababa in Ethiopia by Facing Africa, a charity which helps treat people suffering from facial tissue disease Noma.
Facing Africa funds visits by surgeons to perform facial reconstructions. B Braun has donated more than £100,000 of equipment. Marketing manager Annette Crowe and sales representative Gavin Kerr will meet some of the people whose lives will be changed.
