A LEVEL crossing near Doncaster has been closed to traffic this afternoon because of a power failure.
Barriers on the crossing at Thorpe Bank, on the road between Askern and Barnby Dun, are stuck in the down position.
There is no prediction when power will be restored so a diversion is in
place via Moss using Moss Road, Station Road to Askern, then A19 to Arksey Lane and Fordstead Lane and vice versa.
