‘Dambuster’ shuttle bus to ease Derwent congestion

A shuttle bus service linking up Derwent dams with other famous scenic spots will be running this Easter and across the summer.

The ‘Dambuster’ service 222 will run from Good Friday until Easter Monday, offering a ‘hail and ride’ service every 50 minutes between Fairholmes Visitor Centre at Ladybower Reservoir and King’s Tree at the head of the valley.

People will also be able to get on or off at Fearfall Wood.

The service will run between 8.45am and 5.50pm and is being provided by the Peak District National Park Authority and Severn Trent Water to ease traffic congestion.

The route will also be running on Sundays and Bank Holidays until October 27 and on Saturdays between June and August.
