Several bus routes in Sheffield could see their services halved to just one bus per hour as part of proposals put forward by First.
The firm is set to hold a public consultation to ask people about its plans to change services running from Meadowhall to Parson Cross, Hillsborough, Shirecliffe and Jordanthorpe.
The changes would mean frequency drops to just one for all the new routes except the 38 from Meadowhall to Jordanthorpe.
Under the plans, services 35 and 36 from the city centre to Hillsborough would be replaced by services 37 and 17.
A revised 37 service would operate from the city to Hillsborough along the current 37 route then continuing after Grimesthorpe on the current 38 route, with buses once an hour.
Service 17 would be reinstated from Meadowhall to Hillsborough and would also be one an hour.
The firm could also split the 51 route to Lodge Moor - but that proposal is not in the current consultation.
The consultation will be held tomorrow from 9am to 10pm at the Centre For Life at Firth Park in Stubbin Lane, or online via www.firstgroup.com/southyorkshire
