‘Buy local’ website goes nationwide

A WEBSITE founded in Sheffield which allows traders to set up their own online shops is launching across the country.

Frooly offers crafters, jewellery makers, and other traders the chance to sell their products direct to customers who want to buy local. Until now the website has been in its testing stage.

Managing director Michael Ord, who set up the site along with Gemma Baldan said he was ‘delighted’ about the launch.

“We hope we can do something for local industries that hasn’t been done before,” he added.

Currently Frooly boasts 1,100 stores, and aims to have at least 10,000 by October. Visit www.frooly.com for more information.
