Brewery wins top ale award

A BREWERY has scooped two awards in a national beer contest.

Thornbridge, based in Bakewell, won two gold medals for its Chiron and Jaipur IPA ales and a silver in the 2012 Craft Beer in Keg Competition, which was held by the Society of Independent Brewers.

Gold winners at the awards will be judged for the National Champion Keg Ale.

Thornbridge director Simon Webster said: “We are very proud of our beers and delighted to win these awards.”
