Breaking news: 60 jobs go as meat plant closes

A MEAT preparation plant in Sheffield is to close, it has been announced.
ANM Group today said it was closing its Yorkshire Premier Meat Sheffield plant, Aston Street, off the A57 Sheffield Parkway, with immediate effect.
A total of 59 staff have been made redundant.
Alan Craig, ANM Group chief executive, said: “I would like to thank all the staff for their efforts.”
