Andrew lands business creation award

Andrew Seaton, from IT support business Resolve IT Solutions, has been named this year's winner of the Creating a Revolutionary Business (CARB) award.

He beat 12 other South Yorkshire creative and technology based companies, taking part in the three month CARB business development programme.

His prize includes 1,500 worth of business consultancy from Adele Hanna of Inspire Services, who ran the course.

The CARB programme has been running for several years and is part of the Objective One regeneration scheme funded incubation and new businesses support programme at Sheffield Technology Parks (STP).

Andrew Seaton credits the course with helping him to achieve a much higher sales success rate, including helping him win two new contracts worth 10,000.

STP chief executive Peter Wood said: “It was a hard decision to make as all the people on the course moved their businesses forward and it had a really positive impact.

“However the prize had to go to the business that had achieved the most in transforming their sales processes and delivered real improved results, and Andrew is a worthy winner.”
