Burglars target hair salons

TWO hair salons have been targeted by burglars in Worksop.

Rich Hair Salon, in Bridge Street, was broken into twice between Sunday, January 13, and Monday, January 14.

GHD hair straighteners in various colours were taken during the raids.

Overnight on Monday, January 14, into Tuesday, January 15, Reubans in Newcastle Avenue was broken into when a rear door was forced open.

Three pairs of Magic Crate hair straighteners, and a number of bottles of Clynol shampoo, conditioner and wax were stolen.

Police want to hear from witnesses or anyone with any information about the burglaries.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “They are also urging anyone who has had an unsolicited approach to buy cut-price hair products as described above to report it, as these items may have been stolen.”

n Anyone with any information about those involved should call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
