ANNIE Nisbett and her pal Sandra Bingham tried for two months to get a £302 refund from BT without success.
Annie, of Lancing Road, Highfield, was told a cheque would be sent in seven working days...a couple of times.
Then she was told because it was over £199.99 it would have to go directly into a bank account.
Sandra arranged to receive the money because Annie only has a post office account. No money arrived.
Further enquiries drew new promises, but no cheque.
A BT spokeswoman said: “Sorry. A new cheque has been issued to the correct address.”
