A NEW exhibition showcasing the best creative student work at Sheffield Hallam University has opened.

The Brightest Spark exhibition was officially opened on Friday, October 5, by Corin Mellor, son of designer David Mellor, and creative director of the family-owned business David Mellor Design.

Corin said: “It’s really good to see so many students finding their own direction, and to see the professional young talent emerging here in Sheffield.”

Exhibits include the award-winning game Bounceback and the Grierson award-nominated documentary Streets in the Sky.

The Brightest Spark exhibition takes place at the Sheffield Institute of Arts (SIA) gallery in the Cantor Building until October 26.
