a FEW weeks ago I wrote about the lamppost on Normanton Hill that was knocked down on Jan 22. Six weeks later the post went up but no top. Then, another six weeks later, the lamp went on. Then, you guessed it, it’s still not lit.
As I said before, the Japanese repaired a major road that was smashed in pieces by the earthquake and tsunami in six days, not six months like this is going to take. Ah well, think of all that energy that’s been saved. They might have a photo of Coun Scriven pointing up when it’s lit.
