BREAKING: South Yorkshire road closed due to 'police incident'
An ongoing police incident has forced a road to be closed off in Doncaster this evening.
Stagecoach East Midlands tweeted that police are at the scene in Duke Street in the town centre and some of their bus services are 'stuck in the resulting congestion'.
Travel South Yorkshire tweeted: "Doncaster Duke Street is closed due to an incident. This is causing delays to all Doncaster bus services at the moment."
South Yorkshire Police has not yet released any details about the incident. We have asked the force for more information and are awaiting a response.
