A second brother seriously injured in a horror crash in Doncaster has died.

Ashley Isle, aged 13, was a passenger in a car which crashed on the A18 High Street, close to Wyndthorpe Hall, near Dunsville.

He was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after the smash at 6.40pm on Saturday but died overnight, South Yorkshire Police revealed today.

His older brother, Thomas Isle, 18, who was driving the red Seat Ibiza at the time of the crash, died at the scene.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “Ashley Isle and his 18-year-old brother, Thomas Isle, were in a red Seat Ibiza that was involved in a collision on the A18 High Street, at around 6.40pm on Saturday 7 November.

“Thomas suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.

“Ashley was critically injured and taken to hospital where he sadly died yesterday evening.

“The family continue to receive support from specialist officers and they have asked that their privacy be respected at this difficult time.”
