A 27-year-old man who was stabbed in a Sheffield street on Thursday is now in a stable condition, police have confirmed.
Police were called to Hastilar Road South, Woodthorpe, at around 1pm on Thursday to reports of a man being stabbed.
A 27-year-old man was found with a single stab wound and was rushed to hospital in a critical condition.
However, South Yorkshire Police have today confirmed that the man is now in a stable condition in hospital.
Enquiries are continuing into the stabbing but no arrests have been made by police surrounding the incident.
Hastilar Road South was closed in both directions following the stabbing yesterday police remaining at the scene this morning.
