A missing man has died this morning, after being traced by police to a house in the Barnsley area.
After issuing a public appeal for information on his whereabouts last night, officers traced Marc Lunn to a property in the Darfield area in the early hours of this morning.
Officers arrived at the property shortly after 4am where Mr Lunn, 40, was found with breathing difficulties.
Despite CPR from officers and paramedics he died a short later.
APPEAL: Concern grows for missing South Yorkshire man
Detective Sergeant Andy Knowles, from South Yorkshire Police's Force Crime Unit, said: "Mr Lunn's family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
"At this stage we do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances to the death and a file will now be prepared for the coroner.
"I would like to thank the public and the media for their help in publicising our appeal to trace Mr Lunn."
