A flat was sealed off and under police guard this morning as part of a probe into a Sheffield murder

Neighbours said police officers, including crime scene investigation specialists, arrived at the flat in Richmond Park Grove, Handsworth, at around 1pm yesterday.

Officers remained outside the property this morning standing guard, with the flat taped off.

South Yorkshire Police said the activity at the flat forms part of the investigation into the murder of 21-year-old Jordan Hill, who was stabbed to death in a flat in Southey Avenue, Longley, last Thursday.

A force spokesman said: "This police activity is linked to the ongoing murder investigation into the death of Jordan Hill."

Three arrests have been made over the death.
