A MAN stabbed after a mass brawl broke out in a Sheffield club is in a stable condition in hospital, police have said.
The victim sustained serious stab wounds during the disturbance at a property on John Street, Bramall Lane, which doubles up as a community centre and club.
Trouble in the venue erupted on Tuesday night, spilling out on to the street. One of the club’s windows was smashed, spreading glass over the pavement.
Eight arrests were made after the incident, and all suspects have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Two other injured men were also taken to Sheffield’s Northern General Hospital to be treated for minor injuries before being released.
