A MUM says she had to move out of her home after her 18-month-old son fell through floorboards riddled with woodworm.
Faye Duroe said she was still waiting for the boards to be repaired two weeks after the incident involving son Tavon at home in Meynell Crescent, Parson Cross, Sheffield.
The floorboards were the last straw after waiting for five repairs since June, she added.
They included new plastering on the stairs, a broken bedroom door frame and unsafe handrails on the staircase.
Faye said she had also been promised a new kitchen sink and double glazing.
A SHEFFIELD Homes spokeswoman said the floorboards were repaired temporarily on the day.
Faye complained and the floorboards were replaced 22 days later.
It was planned that the other repairs would be carried out for the start of November.
The Sheffield Homes spokesman added: “Everything has been done to the correct timescales. Repairs come under different categories of urgency.”
