A TERROR suspect denied researching bomb recipes found on YouTube when he appeared in court.
Nicholas Roddis, aged 27, from Maltby, Rotherham, was allegedly caught looking at the material in public libraries across Yorkshire between January and November last year.
The online videos are said to have contained details about the ingredients and effects of improvised explosives, as well as information on where equipment can be bought.
The former finance worker faces a single charge under section 5 of the Terrorism Act, and appeared via videolink at the Old Bailey in London.
During the brief hearing he spoke only to confirm his name and to enter a formal plea of not guilty.
Roddis was remanded in custody by the judge, Mr Justice Fulford. A trial is due to take place at Woolwich Crown Court in January next year.
