Boeing’s troubled 787 Dreamliner plane has suffered more technical problems.
The flagship aircraft, which has been testing at Robin Hood Airport in recent weeks, is not one of the planes disrupted by new technical problems, the latest in a long line of setbacks for the plane which had been dogged by difficulties and delays.
Engine trouble grounded one plane in Japan last week, while another Singapore-bound Dreamliner had to turn back in mid-flight after a problem with anti-icing systems.
Another Japanese plane failed to take off earlier in the week due to engine problems and earlier this year, the entire fleet was grounded due to battery problems.
The Thomson Airways Dreamliner, which flew into Robin Hood for runway tests last week, is the only Dreamliner currently based in the UK at the moment.
