Police searching for a man who went swimming in a South Yorkshire reservoir at the weekend have found his body.
The 38-year-old man from Fartown in Huddersfield, had been camping with a friend at Snailsden reservoir near Dunford Bridge, Barnsley, when he went for a swim but failed to return on Saturday night.
An extensive search was mounted involving officers from South and West Yorkshire Police forces and South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
The police helicopter, force dogs and underwater search officers assisted and police recovered a body from the water at around 4.05pm on Sunday.
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “His family have been informed and the death is not being treated as suspicious.”
