An inquest is due to be opened into the body of a man found hanged in Sheffield woodland.
Two men were out walking in Rivelin woods, near Manchester Road, when they found the 42-year-old man’s body.
They told The Star he appeared to have hanged himself.
Zane Clark, aged 21, of Richmond, found the body at 6pm on Saturday and called the police.
Officers then turned up with crews from Mountain Rescue and ambulance services, he said.
A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said: “Police were called at around 7pm on Saturday to woodland near Manchester Road, Sheffield, where the body of a 42-year-old man was discovered.
“There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the man’s death.”
