Blue Coats boys are very special guests

Homebuilder, Bellway is preparing to welcome three very special guests to open the new show home on its Bluecoats development on Psalter Lane, Sheffield on Saturday morning (September 28th, 2013).  �  Peter Gilliard, Leslie Hodkinson and Dennis Richard all attended the famous Blue Coats School, which provided education for orphaned and homeless boys in the city between 1911 and 1939. The three all responded to a press appeal from Bellway for ex-pupils to be their VIP guests for the sites opening weekend.

Three very special guests opened a show home at a new Sheffield housing development - rousing memories from over 70 years ago.

Peter Gilliard, Leslie Hodkinson and Dennis Richard all went to the famous Blue Coats School, which provided education for orphaned and homeless boys in the city between 1911 and 1939.

Building company Bellway put out an appeal for ex-pupils to be VIP guests on opening weekend at the site, now renamed Bluecoats, on Psalter Lane, Nether Edge.
