Blowing their own trumpets
MEMBERS of Sheffield 13 Brass Ensemble are blowing their own trumpets – with a packed programme of concerts for the coming year.
Highlights include a show at Eckington Civc Centre on April 18, and performances at Rother Valley on May 17 and June 14.
The ensemble was founded in 1981 and rehearses twice weekly, on Tuesday evenings at Handsworth Parish Centre and on Thursday evenings at the Southern Light Community Church in Woodhouse.
