SHEFFIELD United will raise the curtain on their 2012/13 campaign with a family fun day at Bramall Lane.
The entertainment, supported by Westfield Health, will take place on Saturday, August 11, before the Blades’ first round League Cup tie against Burton Albion.
Organiser John Garrett said: “We are hoping to incorporate a lot of the successful open day aspects into the fun day.
“The Cherry Street car park will be a hive of activity with something for Blades fans of all ages.”
The event, which starts at 9am, will include a fun fair, stalls and refreshments, a tour of the home dressing room, and a display of vehicles from Sheffield Classic Car Club.
The Legends of the Lane museum will be open with talks from club historian John Garrett.
