Blades fans in shirts appeal

TWO charitable Sheffield United fans are planning a trip to Africa to donate football shirts to the needy.

Adrian Barlow, aged 43, and his girlfriend, Nicola Wraith, 32, want to collect donations from Sheffield United fans in preparation for their trip to Africa this year.

The couple have travelled to India, Thailand and Cambodia in the last four years in order to give out local football kits to the poverty stricken and are planning to go to Africa in May.

Adrian appealed to United fans to donate their unwanted shirts.

He said: “If you’ve got a spare kit that you don’t use, you can really help.

“Believe me, when you give the guys the tops, it’s worth every penny to see their faces.”
