Bin collections survey final call

Have your say

SHEFFIELD households have just a few days to give their views on how waste and recycling should be collected.

The four-week consultation – being held by the council to obtain people’s views on issues such as whether black bins should be collected weekly or fortnightly, whether green collections should continue, and what should happen to the recycling service – ends at midnight on Sunday.

Coun Leigh Bramall, Sheffield Council’s cabinet member for environment and transport, said: “We want to make sure everyone has a chance to have their say on this important issue.”

The questionnaire is available on www.sheffield.gov.uk/wastesurvey and hard copies will be available from Council First Point offices, housing offices and libraries or on application from 0844 5220100.
