Water charity supporters braved the rain to cycle 180 miles from London to Owlerton and raise more than £3,000.
Taste was set up 15 years ago by Ben Udejiofo and drills boreholes in Nigeria to provide clean, fresh drinking water to poor communities.
Eight cyclists set off on the H2O Watercycle Challenge from Haringey, where Ben was bought up, to Owerlton, where the project is based.
The event was supported by Taste patron and TV presenter Dan Walker, from Sheffield, who said: “I’m always impressed when people take on a challenge like this to help others.
“Taste is an amazing charity which is really making a difference to rural communities in Nigeria. If I wasn’t off to the World Cup I’d be dragging on the lycra and joining them.”
