Biker left fighting for life after Barnsley crash

A motorcyclist was left fighting for life after a collision in Barnsley.

The 34-year-old was riding a blue Honda motorcycle when it is believed he was involved in a collision and thrown from his bike.

Police said emergency services were alerted to the incident at 6.45pm on Friday, March 7, on Royston Road at Cudworth, Barnsley.

The motorcyclist was rushed with life-threatening injuries to hospital, where he remains. He is from Notton, Wakefield.

Officers who want to speak to witnesses to the incident say the circumstances surrounding it are ‘unclear’.

They particularly want to speak to the driver of a light-coloured car, being driven on Royston Road towards Cudworth, around the time of the incident
