A motorcyclist broke both ankles when he was thrown from his bike in a collision in South Yorkshire.
The 18-year-old was travelling behind a red Transit-style van, which was turning left from Rotherham Road on to Kieran Close, Dinnington, when a car pulled out of the junction at the same time.
Police said the motorcyclist was overtaking the red van when a blue Citroen C2, driven by a 30-year-old woman from Anston, Rotherham, pulled out into the path of the bike, a Yamaha YBR125.
The collision occurred on Wednesday, at about 5.10pm.
Police officers investigating the incident want to hear from witnesses, or anyone who saw any vehicle involved beforehand, on 101.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “It is reported the red van indicated to turn left on to Kieran Close, at which point it is believed the Citroen pulled out on to Rotherham Road.
“The Yamaha reportedly began to overtake the van, when it came into collision with the Citroen.
“The rider was thrown from the motorcycle, sustaining two broken ankles.”
