plans to finance the Big Society with money from so-called ‘dormant’ accounts is tantamount to theft.
If any ordinary person was to borrow money from their employer’s account without negotiation it would be classed as stealing, and end in dismissal and perhaps legal proceedings.
Everyone should check their accounts or remind elderly parents or relatives what is going on.
There have been many Big Society opponents, but I’ve yet to hear one single member of the opposition in parliament phrase the act of taking money from sleeping accounts as ‘ theft.’ Where is the Labour opposition when you want it to speak the truth? Or is this another example of our parliamentary system colluding in conspiring against the very people who elected it?
