Food, music and art as well as candle rolling will be on offer at a Sheffield suburb’s festival on Sunday.

The Big Boulder music and arts festival will be held at Heeley Park featuring a host of stalls offering crafts, cuisine and design.

Heeley Development Trust, Cloud 9 Decor, textile artist Lucy Armstrong and the Cupola Gallery will transform the park into an ‘open-access, interactive fusion of food, music and art’.

A spokesman for the trust said: “Members of the family young and old can take part in candle rolling, jewellery making and ceramics workshops.

“Live music will be provided by The Men They Couldn’t Hang front-man Phil ‘Swill’ Odgers, Orchestre Ruffanti, Tandem, Bright Lights, Julian Jones and band, the Silver Darlings and Shosholoza.”

Entrance to the festival, which will be held from noon to 6.30pm, will be free.
